Wally Butler

Vice President of Finance & Administration/Chief Financial Officer, Mazergroup

Wally Butler is the Vice President of Finance & Administration/Chief Financial Officer at Mazergroup, where he has been a pivotal figure since joining in 1997. With over 20 years of experience in equipment dealer leadership, Butler has held various leadership roles within Mazergroup, culminating in his current position.

Originally from Brandon, Manitoba, Butler played an instrumental role in enhancing the competitiveness of local businesses and establishing them as industry leaders. He served as Treasurer of the Brandon Business Development Corporation, contributing significantly to the growth of businesses in the region. 

Throughout his career, he has been actively involved in industry advisory boards, including Farm Credit Canada (FCC) and Wells Fargo, where he provided strategic insights and guidance. Butler’s contributions extend beyond his company’s borders, as he played a crucial role in shaping the Western Equipment Dealers Association (WEDA). He was also elected President of the Board of Directors of WEDA from 2017 to 2019.

Now based in Winnipeg, Manitoba, Wally Butler continues to be a driving force in the equipment dealer industry, leveraging his extensive experience to foster growth and innovation within Mazergroup and beyond.

Brock Moir

Chief Product Officer, visorPRO

Brock Moir serves as AGvisorPRO Inc.’s Chief Product Officer, leading the development of both AGvisorPRO and visorPRO.ai. He has over 10 years of experience as a product and technology leader bringing AI-enabled products to market within multiple industrial sectors. Prior to joining AGvisorPRO Inc., Brock led the Alberta Machine Intelligence Institute in creating and delivering services designed to help mid-sized companies discover, develop, and deliver AI-powered solutions. Brock has two degrees in physics including an M Sc, having conducted fundamental research on the particle physics collisions within the Large Hadron Collider.

Robert Saik

Founder and Chief Executive Officer, visorPRO

The founder and CEO of AGvisorPRO, has forty years of experience as a Professional Agrologist, entrepreneur and an international consultant who’s worked with a wide variety of agriculturalists from Nigeria’s Minister of Agriculture to Bill Gates. He has leveraged these strengths to found over 15 companies in the areas of Farming, Agri-Retail, Distribution, Media and Ag Tech including The Agri-Trend/Agri-Data Group of Companies which was acquired by Trimble. He served as CEO of DOT Technology Corp (Autonomous Farming) through the acquisition of Dot by Raven Industries.

He has been recognized for agriculture leadership by the Alberta Institute of Agrologists (Provincial Distinguished Agrologist of the Year), in 2016 was awarded Canadian Agri-Marketer of the Year by the Canadian Agri-Marketing Association and in 2021 was recognized as one of Canada’s Top 50 Most Influential Agriculture Leaders.
